It would really have been helpful to have pictures or diagrams showing how to build the supers and frames. It was confusing to follow and hard to visualize when only words were used to describe the building and assembly process. The whole reason I bought the book was to learn how to build the supers and frames. It was a total waste of money.
We are just beginning with bees and this book is a great book for basic info. Nicely priced also. Thank You.

Great book, very informative! I really want to do beekeeping when I get my house built and we get settled. This book will really help what I need and what I need to do to get it started. I am a bit afraid of bees and I am allergic, but I really want to do beekeeping. SO I am reading all kinds of books so I can familiarize myself with bees.My interest in bees is to help save the dying population by introducing bees my home environment hoping that in a small way that I can help. So I found this book on amazon and it has really helped me figure out what I need. I have made a list of things that I will need to pick and will keep this book handy in case I need more information.Great Book!
I would not recommend this book for the beginner beekeeper.It is poorly written with many sentences not even grammatically correct or punctuated properly.Instructions for building a beehive are mostly just text and so are quite confusing. There are very few illustrations which would have helped immeasurably.The few photographs in the book are of very poor quality.It is a very superficial handling of the subject.
